Windblock Windblock

Terms of Service

Last updated: Aug 28, 2025

Short version: Windblock adds and updates one-hour events in your Google Calendar based on public wind forecasts. It’s offered “as-is,” with no guarantees of forecast accuracy or availability. You’re always in control of your calendar. By installing or using Windblock, you agree to these terms.

1) Who we are

Windblock is a Google Calendar add-on that helps you reserve time when the wind looks good. It stores your settings in your Google account and uses third-party weather data to create/update events in a dedicated “Windblock (ZIP)” calendar.

2) Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Windblock, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the add-on and revoke its access in your Google Account settings.

3) Using Windblock

4) Permissions & privacy

Windblock needs permission to read and write calendar events and to make external requests for weather data. We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

5) Forecasts & scheduling disclaimer

Forecasts can be inaccurate or change quickly. Windblock is a convenience tool only. You remain solely responsible for your schedule and any decisions you make based on forecasts or events created by Windblock.

6) Availability & changes

We may update, pause, or discontinue Windblock at any time. Features (like refresh frequency or data sources) may change without notice. We may also update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

7) Fees & support

Windblock may include an optional “Support ❤️ Windblock” link for voluntary contributions. Contributions are optional and not a purchase of features or guarantees.

8) Termination

You can stop using Windblock at any time. We may terminate or suspend access if we believe there is misuse, harm, or risk to the service or others.

9) Warranty disclaimer

Windblock is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Windblock and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, calendar entries, time, opportunities, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of Windblock.

11) Third-party services

Windblock relies on third-party providers (e.g., Google services, weather APIs, ZIP geocoding). We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or performance.
